If you sailed with us this summer you may have been on a trip with a film crew, photographer or writer on board. It’s great to have these press folks join us and get to know just what it is that we do. Don’t be surprised if you see us on your television, online or in a magazine soon.
In June we had a production crew join us to film Annie cooking for a show they are making. When we have more information and the website is up we will be sure to share it with you – we’re really excited about this project.
In July our local NBC affiliate, WCSH, joined us on the water for their nightly news magazine program, 207. This piece was focused around sailing in Maine and how relaxing it can really be and aired in mid September.
Not too long after “207″ was here the Food Network was in town to film a “Throwdown with Bobby Flay”, which you read a little about last month.
It’s great to have so many folks reconginze what we, and the rest of the local windjammers, are doing here in Maine.
