Maine Vacation- Before & After Your Windjammer Cruise

Mid-coast Maine is considered to be the area between Brunswick and Belfast, including Bath, Boothbay, Camden, Damariscotta, Lincolnville, Rockland and Wiscasset. It is one of the most culturally infused, dynamic and of course scenic areas in the beautiful state of Maine. Each city, town, and village in the area offers things to do for young and old, local and from "away".

With this in mind we are sharing a list of 50 free things to do in Mid-Coast Maine. Once a week we will share a new FREE thing you can do before, after and while you are visiting us on your next Maine windjammer vacation. GrindlePointLightRobertColburn

One of his pieces you will be able to see while perusing downtown Rockland. You won't miss it as it will sit atop the Farnsworth at 18-feet-11-inches high!  The sculpture consists of five circles with the word "EAT" spelled out twice in flashing letters. It was originally on exhibit for the exterior of the New York State Pavilion at the New York World's Fair in New York City in 1964.
